The week before Christmas was super busy and flew by so fast! Blakesley and I ran lots of errands and finalized stuff with our house reconstruction, insurance, and new carpet installation. Cora was off preschool the whole week before Christmas, but Sonoma wasn't out until Friday.
| On Wednesday Blakesley booked her very first modeling job! A photo shoot with V-tech for a brand new toy coming out in the Fall! B did such a great job and they probably took about 300 pictures of her in a crib, trying to get her to lay still, smile, laugh and then close her eyes to be sleeping for a few shots. It was very interesting being behind the scenes watching Blakesley model, compared to watching her older sisters. |
| She really is the happiest baby! |
| Killing time in a parking garage during our city excursion which involved begging a parking attendant to let us park longer than the 1 hour allotted time for garage parking. We heard they are sticklers about the time frame and towing, so luckily we did not get towed! B must have flashed him a super sweet baby smile! :) |
| Every day is an adventure with Cora and her baby dolls |
| I was getting ready and heard noise in the nursery. Cora was putting on a ballet show for Blakesley while she played in her crib. |
| I was so excited to be able to volunteer for the 1st time in Sonoma's 1st grade class this year! The Winter Party was on Thursday afternoon and it was so fun helping out in her class. I was in charge of the crafts. |
| Coffee stop after her last day of school! |
| Cora was so excited to have Sonoma home for break! |
| The first day of break was Sonoma's holiday party and mock competition at the gym. Cora and Blakesley both got bored and hungry so we left for a bit and had McDonalds in the car while Blakesley napped. |
| Melt! |
| Sonoma hard at work on some jewelry |
Christmas Eve Eve, the girls had their 2nd annual Christmas sleepover in the playroom under their tree. They exchange gifts with one another and watch a Christmas movie. This year was The Polar Express and it only took them an hour and a half to fall asleep after! Cora woke up disoriented and scared in the middle of the night, but other than that, they had a great time! ;)
| I absolutely love having three girls and can't wait for Blakesley to also participate in the sleepover! It makes my heart so happy to see them all laying under the tree together, smiling |
| It was an American Girl and Bitty Baby Christmas! Cora got Sonoma an American Girl milkshake set and Sonoma got Cora a bitty baby zip up snow suit. Cora got Blakesley a stuffed animal |
| Cora insisted on giving us the present she made at school at the sleepover. It was so sweet. We loved it! |
