While Marcus and Sonoma were on their trip in Atlanta, I decided it was the perfect time for Cora to have her first weekend away by herself. I figured she needed to do something on her own, now that she is two years old. Marcus' parents met me halfway on Friday morning, and I said goodbye to Cora for a long weekend. They took her straight to the Indianapolis zoo on their way to Bloomington and she had so much fun! She spent Friday-Monday in Bloomington and had an extremely wonderful time. She stayed with Marcus' parents for the duration of her trip, but also spent the day with my parents and Krista & Jake on Sunday.
Cora loves to play dress-up!
This is one of my favorite videos!

And what did I do for my first time EVER being alone in our house? A lot! I got a lot done! I will admit, it was very, very weird, almost eerie - being all alone for 2 nights and almost 3 days. Dixie and Dorothy kept me company, but I definitely caught myself talking out loud for no reason and wandering around not even sure how I should spend my time! I ended up running a lot of errands, cleaning out the girls' rooms, cleaning the house, working out, walking Dixie, went to a friend's daughter's birthday party and had a girls' night out with my two neighbors!

| When I picked up Cora on Monday afternoon she could NOT stop hugging me, saying "Mommy, missed YOU. Mommy missed YOU. " It was the sweetest.thing.ever. I love this pic of Cora in front of our burning bushes that just turned red. |
