I would have to say the past four days have been picture perfect Fall days. I didn't even have a chance to realize how busy we were until I sat down to update the blog. Thursday night I was invited to a party at my neighbor's house who just built a beautiful pergola. We had a super fun girls' night, which followed by another fun girls' night with my good friend, Jessica. She took me out to celebrate my birthday and we had a great evening at Cooper Hawk's Winery. Saturday morning I celebrated my dear friend Sarah and her sweet little third baby, Will. A few of her girlfriends threw a Sip n See for her and it was such a wonderful event. I came home with just enough time to run some errands with Marcus and the girls and then I was off to my monthly neighborhood Bunco night! We woke up early this morning to take the girls' Fall pictures (stay tuned!) and then we went on a run along the Fox River. We are now heading out to a Chili Cook-Off at our friends' house, which seems like the absolute perfect way to end this beautiful, Autumn weekend! Weekends like these in Chicago are few and far between!
Marcus was great with the girls yesterday while I was gone and so busy. He took them to Blackberry Farm for their annual Pumpkin Fest. They had a great time and I'm so happy I have a husband who isn't afraid to take the girls' on an outing by himself. Thanks, Marcus! =)
