I know, I say it every year, but Christmas came and went by SO quickly this year! After the festivities with my family, we were happy to host Marcus' parents for Christmas this year. They arrived on the 24th and stayed through the 27th. We had such a wonderful time together, and everyone was healthy.....the best Christmas present of all! :)
Here is what we did on Christmas Eve:
| Cora was hard at work on Sissy's Christmas card and wrapping the presents she picked out for her. |
| Annual tradition of baking Gingerbread people with Grandma |
| Sillyness |
| Christmas kisses |
| We made Christmas wreaths too! |
After a yummy dinner ( thanks for so much food, Grandma! ) the girls set out Christmas cookies, milk and carrots for Santa and the reindeer.

| Daddy reading the girls "The Night Before Christmas" |
We started out Christmas morning in our household at 4:15 AM! Yup, that is when Sonoma woke up and started knocking on our door. We told her it was the middle of the night and that she had to go back to bed, but she had already noticed that Santa left a little present for her in the stocking hanging on her door. So, Marcus and I attempted to go back to sleep, but Sonoma played in her room until 5:45 AM. Played with every toy, sang, etc, so we definitely did not go back to sleep. We went in at 5:45 to hang out with her until Cora woke up, which wasn't until 7:00 am!

| We played with Dixie |
| We took more selfies |
And then FINALLY, when Cora woke up, the girls were able to come downstairs together! Cora woke up and immediately said, "Santa Claus coming to town???" She was SO excited and watching the girls together was so special and memorable.

| First year Cora could walk down the stairs by herself with Sonoma! |

| Puppy Surprises! Doc McStuffins Doctor Center! |
| And a NEW BED for Sonoma!!! |
| Santa sure was good to us |
What a lovely Christmas!

Here is Sonoma's new bed. She LOVES her big girl bed, thanks to Grandma and T. And she LOVES her Frozen bedding, thanks to Mimi & Pa. What a big change!
| Oh how we loved looking at everyone's Christmas cards that we received this year. |
| With Christmas money, we were able to complete our art & craft center. I was inspired by my friend Sarah's art center at her house. Thank you to Sarah, Ikea and The Container Store! We feel a lot more organized in this corner of our play room now. |
