Weekend Wrap Up

Another weekend in the books! And a very memorable one!  We took the girls to see Frozen on Ice Saturday morning at the Allstate Arena.  We bought tickets back in May, and it was money well spent.  The girls enjoyed every minute of the experience and honestly, Marcus and I loved it too.  It was our first family show and I look forward to more in the future!

I knew the girls would be tempted by the massive amounts of Frozen souvenirs and treats that would be sold at the arena, so I picked up two of the Disney itty bitty dolls at Hallmark this week and surprised the girls before the show.  They were thrilled.  We let them buy one snack, popcorn, and we snuck in everything else.  Our small popcorn was $12!  :-O

I had no idea that they were going to reenact the whole movie, which was super cool.  The skaters were extremely talented and we had awesome seats!

Before they started "Frozen," Mickey, Minnie, and a TON of other Disney characters and princesses all came out and did some songs and a little intro.  Cora LOVED seeing Mickey and Minnie!

One of my favorite parts was watching the girls reactions and seeing them sing and dance.  Pure joy and happiness.

Sonoma got a hold of my phone and snapped some selfies of herself and Cora.  So sweet and funny and the first of many sister selfies in the years to come!

The Greens sat a few rows behind us and Sonoma enjoyed seeing Charlotte!

I met my friend Beatrice for dinner in Oakbrook Saturday night.  It was really fun to catch up with her one on one without the kiddos.  Sunday we enjoyed church, grocery shopping, errands and puzzles.  Just one weekend left and chapter 1 of 12 in 2015 will come to an end!
