Life Lately

Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.  We have been busy battling pink eye, bronchitis and more snow!  HOWEVER, it could be a lot worse, and we are in a good mood today because the snow is MELTING!!  It was in the 40s today and it felt like summer it was so warm!  It's frustrating though, because with the warm up there is going to be such a slushy mess in the parking lots, on the trails and on the sidewalks.  Spring IS coming and we cannot wait to get outside and play!  And, we heard the birds chirping this morning.  Cora kept saying, "hi birdies, tweet tweet!"

In Chicagoland, you are ALWAYS driving.  Lots of suburbs, lots of traffic -- we are always in the car.  At least we have fun, right?

 

Last Thursday night, Sonoma had her Spanish program, a "Fiesta," at Preschool.  She has been practicing her play and songs for quite a long time now, so it was really fun to watch her perform!  Even Cora knew some of the words since Sonoma was always singing!

 

 

 

 

 

I am working on getting videos uploading that Marcus took during the performance.  After it was over, all the parents and kids celebrated with a Fiesta full of yummy Mexican food!
