Weekend Wrap Up!

Sonoma went back to Indiana for the second weekend in a row.  This time it was to spend the weekend with my sister and her husband.  Cora had another weekend back at home by herself, and I'll be honest - she was pretty sad about Sonoma being gone again.  She asked about 100 times over the weekend, "Mommy, Where's Sonoma?"  It's like she forgot and kept hoping she would be back home!  I dropped Sonoma off halfway to Indianapolis on Friday, and Marcus picked her up half way today.  Marcus and I did our best to spend some special one on one time with Cora.  It's amazing how calm and different the girls are when they are all by themselves.  No fighting, no bickering, no sharing issues ;)

 

 

Sonoma and I stopped at Fair Oaks Farm to meet my sister.  We had some time to kill so we walked around and took pictures :)

I got back into town Friday night just in time for Daddy to be off work and to take Cora out to a special dinner - just the three of us!

We had the BEST time together.

Saturday morning we took Cora on her first trike ride of the year all around the neighborhood.  She did such a good job.

And then we went straight for the swing.

We noticed our flowers are starting to come up!  HOORAY!

We came in for the afternoon and I spent the rest of the day cooking and prepping for my St. Patrick's Day Bunco I was hosting!  Cora loved my rainbow fruit platter I made.

Man, I wish I was creative like my husband.  Thankfully he helped me out a bunch!

 

It was such a fun night with my Bunco group.  Marcus and Cora had another special Daddy Daughter Date night out.  It was so cute to watch Cora come home and run to me and yell, "Mommy how is your BUNGO?"  (yes, she calls it BunGo.).  Love that girl.

 

 

Sonoma had a great time at Krista and Jake's house for the weekend.  She met their new dog, JJ, and they ended up getting along after some getting used to each other.

On Saturday they took Sonoma to the Indianapolis Zoo and my parents met them there.

She went out to eat on Mass Ave ( where Marcus and I used to live) at Bru Burger

 

Cora was SOOO happy to see Sonoma come home today.  We spent the day outside playing, eating, and CLEANING our garage!  We got a lot done and were thankful for a full weekend of beautiful sunshine and fun had by all!
