Christmas Time is Here!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, we are in full on Christmas mode.  We decided to start decorating right away on Friday in attempts to bring some sparkle and joy to our under construction house.  My dining room is always one of my favorite rooms during the holidays, so I'm bummed we can't use it. However, we did some extra decor in the other rooms to make up for it :)

We headed out to the tree farm to chop down our Christmas tree on Friday morning.  Unfortunately, we found out that due to the harsh winter of 2013, there weren't enough trees for us to chop down ourselves.  They still had fresh, trees, but they were pre-cut.  So, Marcus got off easy this year and didn't have to saw down a tree.  We picked out the perfect tree and I really think it's the best one we have ever had!

Blakesley's first trip to the tree farm!

We found our tree!

Inside to warm up with the tradition of eating yummy donuts!

Classic manger pic.  And, just like every year, we end up yelling at Cora to get OUT of the manger!

LOVE Kuiper's donuts!

This year they had a brand new train ride that was up and running and FREE!  I had to take Blakesley to the car to eat and warm up, but Marcus took the big girls on the train ride and said it was awesome!

The Mooseheart Lights opened up on Friday night so we decided to head over and check out their light display.  They had tons of new light displays this year and we all loved it!!

The girls LOVED the Wizard of Oz display.  This is Dorothy's house being blown away in the twister

All the Wizard of Oz people

The beautiful house that has lights that go with music!

My favorite tunnel at the end!

It wouldnt be Christmas Time without a visit from our favorite little Elf, Pizza!  Pizza came back on Saturday morning, the day after we got our tree up!

Blakesley is ready for her first Christmas!  I love having a baby during Christmas time.  It was so fun digging up all the Christmas baby stuff!  :)

B wearing my baby Santa hat!
