Santa + Holiday Light Show = Awesome Friday Night!

The girls both sat on Santa's lap last night and we were shocked at how great the whole experience turned out!  As you can see from the picture above, there were no tears at all!  Sonoma cut right to the chase and told Santa she wanted a pink pony ( again! ) and Cora just sat there eating her hands while Santa talked to the girls.  Where on earth did this pink pony come from?  I mean I know she likes My Little Ponies and all, but she has been talking about her pink pony for weeks now.

We saw Santa at Mooseheart, as he was waiting at the end of their holiday light show to greet the kiddos. The best thing about this Santa?  He was FREE!  (Unlike all of the malls where you can't take pics on your iPhone or camera, and one picture costs you $25.)  This Santa was legit AND he handed out teddy bear beanie babies and cookies and hot chocolate to all the kids.  We were amazed at how beautiful the drive through holiday light show was.  Any one who is in the western suburbs you MUST take a drive over to Mooseheart off of 31 in Batavia to check this out.  One of the stops is a house and you turn on the radio and the entire house lights up to music for a few minutes....it's the coolest thing.  The rest of the scenes are all so pretty and it's about 2 miles long.
