Halloween 2016

Halloween 2016 was a special one, since it was our first Halloween as a family of FIVE!  It was Miss Blakesley Ann's 1st Halloween and she had such a wonderful celebration!  We kicked off festivities over the weekend with carving pumpkins, toasting pumpkin seeds and watching The Wizard of Oz.  We told Cora she could be allowed to watch The Wizard of Oz this year since she was dressing up as the Wicked Witch of the West.  We were a little scared she would be too frightened, since we were up all night on Friday with Cora having vampire nightmares.  ( Sonoma scared her and told her Vampires were coming to suck her blood. ),  However, Cora LOVED The Wizard of Oz and we had a fun time watching it with the girls!

Halloween day was nuts!  We had Cora's Autumn Preschool Music Program in the morning, Sonoma's school Halloween parade in the afternoon and then trick-or-treating!

2 wicked witches of the west!  They insisted on both being the Witch and cried over the one costume we had. Easy enough - I just ordered another one!

I wasn't planning on taking Blakesley out Trick-or-Treating, but it was the nicest weather we have EVER had since having kids, so I pushed her in the stroller for an hour and a half.  She never even made a peep.  It was a beautiful, Fall evening.

Halloween 2016 in the books.  October over.  What an awesome month!
