Life Lately

How is it already the 2nd week in November??  I know I always say how fast time is flying by, but I swear, some days I keep thinking it is still summer!  It was in the 60s and 70s all weekend and absolutely sunny and perfect.  I am in shock that the holidays are right around the corner!

Cora brought home Scooter the Bear from Preschool.  He is a traveling bear that has been around for years and takes turns going home with all the children.  You have to scrapbook about your time with Scooter, take pictures and make a postcard to send to Scooter's family.  Sonoma brought home Scooter two years ago, so Cora remembered him and was so excited to have her turn.  It was incredible that Scooter witnessed history being made with the Cubs winning the World Series.  It was not so incredible that we almost lost Scooter after he was thrown into a hallow hole where two built in wall shelves met together at gymnastics. Long story short:  Cora got wild at gymnastics pick up, she threw Scooter, he got stuck , and I had to call out a male gymnastics coach out of his practice and multiple other people to all move a rug, and thankfully move one of the shelves that was not attached to the wall.  After using all of his strength, the coach and and us were able to move a shelf far enough for me to fish Scooter out from the hole.  All the meanwhile I had an over tired screaming newborn, Cora was being really naughty, and it was pouring rain and storming out.  #neveradullmoment

The girls wanted to swing from the tree to shake some leaves down on a walk together

We all went to the Trolls movie as a family of 5!  It was SUCH a good movie, and Blakesley did amazing. She just nursed, slept and even watched some of the movie!

The girls after church with Daddy.  Blakesley and I skipped church and I met a friend for brunch

Cora is always playing with babies

Cora's baby was practicing tummy time

Claire came home from the American Girl hospital!  After weeks without Claire, she finally made it home with her head re-attached.  Look at the adorable hospital gown and hat she got, along with a certificate of good health, doctor's orders and a get well card.  Adorable and worth the hospital bill.

The competition leos came in for the team!  Sonoma and all of the girls had to try them on and model them last week.

Scooter slept in Cora's bunk beds one night

The Level 4s and 5s in their new leos

Scooter came to soccer practice!  Cora is loving soccer!

I went for a run and look who I passed on my route!
